The coronation of a king is a long-standing tradition that dates back to ancient times. It was a symbolic ceremony representing the power transfer between rulers. The coronation was typically held in a public place, such as a cathedral or a town square, and attended by the nobility, clergy, and commoners.

The new king would be anointed with holy oil during the ceremony, symbolising his divine right to rule. He would also receive a crown, sceptre, and orb, symbolising his power and authority.

The cost is £20 pp - we hope to see you all on May 6th (12 pm - 4 pm) to celebrate a new era. To book your afternoon tea, get in touch with the team below!
